As an addendum to my gym shorts "content" post, consider gold medalist Usain Bolt holding up his Puma running shoe and kissing it.
Puma wasn't a player at all in the Olympic sponsor pool versus rivals Nike and Adidas, but Usain's medals and prominent display was a marketing and sales boon for Puma.
They were in the right place at the right time with relevant, quality content.
