It’s not as if Google struggles with generating more traffic than they already do; they continue to own almost two-thirds of all U.S. online search and it’s growing globally.
What’s the latest on Yahoo and Microsoft? Who cares. Check out Doodle 4 Google - a contest inviting K-12 students to submit their own Google logo designs.
Brilliant. Anyone who doesn’t stop occasionally on Google’s home page and admire the timely logo design (even wondering what the heck day it is) isn’t going to Google, and that number is less and less every month.
Note to self: Don’t just recycle the same old marketing campaigns - get creative to draw folks in.
Maybe we should launch a voice-over contest to give our old marketing mouse an audible life!
Imagine the podcasts...
