HRmarketer.com Launches Social Networking Site for Human Resource Suppliers

We finally launched our new HR Suppliers social networking site today that alllows HRmarketer.com members to network with marketing peers, “talk shop” about recent campaigns and even review job postings.

The beta version of this Phase One "community" is now live on HRmarketer.com. Key elements include:

- Networking: Marketing professionals may confidentially approach other HR and employee benefit suppliers to discuss partnership opportunities, solicit feedback on the success of recent special events, promotional efforts, or direct mail lists, and any other topics they wish to discuss.

- Profile/Buyers Portal: HRmarketer members are listed in an online buyer’s guide and may post information about their products, including links to supporting video, audio, PDF documents, white papers, etc., that will be marketed to HR professionals.

- Job Listings: HR suppliers may post and respond to marketing and public relations job opportunities within the human resource and employee benefit marketplace.

The online community is currently accessible solely to members of HRmarketer.com. However, it is our intention to make much of the community available to the public in 2nd quarter of 2007 -- once we work out the bugs, solicit member feedback for other features they want, and complete development of a related interactive "Buyers Guide" which will allow HR suppliers to showcase their services, provide supporting materials (sales sheets, podcasts, news releases, blogs, white papers/research, video, etc.), "tag" their profiles and interact with potential customers (HR buyers).

The response thus far (24 hours into the launch) has been really positive. HRmarketer is the ideal location to host this new kind of B2B social networking community, since our membership of HR suppliers is already visiting the site for their everyday marketing and PR needs. For example, when you are planning which events to exhibit at, what direct marketing lists to rent or where to advertise, you can solicit feedback from executives familiar with your space. Suppliers can also be assured the right candidates will their marketing and PR job postings.

Stay tuned. Many new features are coming.
